Behavior System

"The Stick" is divided into 4 colors, each with its own consequence.
1. Green- This is where all students start and want to stay!
2. Yellow- Warning.
3. Blue- No Recess the next day. Note home to be signed.
4. Red- No Recess. Note Home. Office Referral. Possible detention. Discipline is at the discretion of the principal.

If a student is asked to pull a pin, he must then sign his name in 'The Big Bad Book" and write the reason in which his pin was pulled. If there is a question regarding behavior/notes, we can show the exact reason for each color change- in the child's handwriting!

Each student has a pin attached to the yardstick with his/her name on it. If the student misbehaves, he/she is asked to pull their pin to the next color and sign the book.
